The Speed-O-Motive Ford Billet block was designed and machined as a part of a premium race engine. It was successfully campaigned by the Baldwin race team in the off-road CORR venue. Features include:
- Billet aluminum construction reduces weight but also provides strength similar to cast iron
- Cryogenically treaded for even less core shift
- Unique one-of-a kind design by well known engine builder
- Encapsulated 60mm cam tunnel w/ roller bearings reduces drag from oil windage on the rotating assembly
- Canted lifter bores provide correct valve train geometry for mounting superior flowing canted valve heads
- Raised cam allows up to 4" stroke and shortens push rods for increased power
- 9.100" Deck Height w/ 351W Bell Housing Mount
- SVO or Cleveland main size utilizes off-the-shelf crankshaft and reduces friction
- Billet steel 4-bolt studded main caps (center splayed)
- Big Block Chevy width bulkheads for strength
- Ford 460 timing chain components required
- Priority main oiling system lubricates critical rods and mains
- Canted bushed key-way lifter bores utilizing latest design light weight lifters
